EX CATHEDRA

x

Agnes felt the call.

A Little Nothing.

Little things are indeed

little.

x

Easier to understand things

in halves,

it still being quite simple

to remain apart:

The speed of light

being constant

is an article of faith.

A huge, red octagon

and layers

of scientific equipment

to be constructed and tested

in pieces.

x

Four tesla,

dear Teresa.

The momentum of muons

will be measured.

The flux of cosmic rays

entering the detectors

could be mistaken

for real physics events,

thus the impediment

above.

x

Doubt

The creator

of knowledge.

The Absent One.

In the tunnel

the dark matter remains unknown.

x

Where

emptiness lies

is plentitude?

If all else fails

is something familiar.
